Why I practice medicine
I started practicing teledermatology in the Army, treating soldiers stationed where the nearest dermatologist was a flight away. Conditions that take one visit to resolve were going untreated for months instead.
That’s still why I practice this way — making sure where you’re stationed or where you live doesn’t determine the quality of care you receive.
